Objectives of CIGRE Irish NC

The objectives of the CIGRE Irish NC are to:

  1. To encourage membership of CIGRE and to make CIGRE better known in Ireland
  2. To propose papers for presentation at the Sessions (in accordance with the rules given in the “General Rules for Sessions”);
  3. To organise the representation of Ireland at Sessions and Symposia;
  4. To recommend persons to the Council for membership of Study Committees;
  5. To promote meetings of Study Committees and Working Groups in Ireland from time to time;
  6. To organise technical meetings or other events either separately or in conjunction with other appropriate organisations
  7.  To act as liaison between the head office of CIGRE and the members in Ireland.
