Cigre NGN Presentation Competition
CIGRE Ireland Next Generation Network (NGN) organised an event in November in ESB Head Office F27 in Dublin. The event was a presentation competition for young professionals (≤35 years old) to present on their work to an audience and a panel of industry judges. The aim was for each participant to get confidence presenting on their work and showcase their talents to an audience of peers.
The winner was Manuel Hurtado from Eirgrid and was selected as the Irish representative in the ‘Young Members Showcase’ in the CIGRE Paris Session in 2024. This is a huge global event where they will present their winning project to a global audience. Best of luck to Manuel.
