Objectives of CIGRÉ Irish NC
The objectives of the CIGRÉ Irish NC are to:
- a) to encourage membership of CIGRÉ and to make CIGRÉ better known in Ireland
- b) to propose papers for presentation at the Sessions (in accordance with the rules given in the
- “General Rules for Sessions”);
- c) to organise the representation of Ireland at Sessions and Symposia;
- d) to recommend persons to the Council for membership of Study Committees;
- e) to promote meetings of Study Committees and Working Groups in Ireland from time to time;
- f) to organise technical meetings or other events either separately or in conjunction with other
- appropriate organisations
- g) to act as liaison between the head office of CIGRÉ and the members in Ireland.
