The CIGRÉ Irish National Committee is delighted to announce that Ireland has been selected as a location to host an odd-year CIGRÉ Symposium in 2017. This is the first time that Ireland will host a CIGRÉ symposium. The symposium will be held from 29 May – 2 June 2017 in Trinity College Dublin and is titled “Experiencing the Future Power System… TODAY”. The objective of the symposium is to give delegates a glimpse of the Future Power System by examining new and innovative technologies, practices and policies that are being successfully deployed around the world TODAY.
